Founded in the year 1961, the Adria Airways is the national airline of Slovenia and is based in Ljubljana. The Adria Airways is also a member of the Star Alliance and has the Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport as the base and hub airport. The Adria Airways has a fleet size of 13 aircrafts which fly to around 25 destinations all over the world. Started as a charter company in 1961, the company worked under the name of Adria Avioproment and had a Douglas DC-6. In the year 1971, the name was changed to Inex-Adria Airways when the company aligned with Interexport. However, the original title was again reverted to in the year 1986.
