The national airline of Ivory Coast or Côte d'Ivoire, Air Ivoire provides scheduled domestic and regional services and has its base in Abidjan. The main hub airport is Port Bouet Airport in Abidjan. The airlines were established in 1960 and it was in 1964 that they became first operational. Presently, the airline is publicly owned with 51% of the shares vested with the public.
Air Ivoire has a fleet of 6 aircrafts out of which include one Airbus A319-112 (which is operated for Air Burkina), 1 Airbus A321-211, 1 Boeing 737-200 (which is operated by Safair), 1 Boeing 767-200ER and 2 Fokker F28 Mk4000. various destinations are connected by Air Ivoire like Paris, Marseille, Togo, Niger, Senegal, Mali, Guinea, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Benin, Cameroon, Gabon and Burkina Faso.
