The national airline of Papua New Guinea, Air Nuigini operates domestic and international services for passengers. The base of the airline is in Port Moresby. The domestic network is operated from Port Moresby and Lae whereas international services connect Asia, Oceania and Australia. The hub airport for the airline is Jacksons International Airport.
Founded in the 1973, the Air Niugini was established under the stake of the government which held the maximum share. Initially which started as a domestic carrier, Air Niugini started early off in its international flights too. Currently, the fleet size of the Air Nauru is 19 aircrafts which include Boeing 757-200, Boeing 767-300, Embraer 190, Fokker 100, Fokker F28, Dash 8-100, Dash 8-200 and Dash 8-300. 29 destinations are covered by these aircrafts which include Sydney, Tokyo, Philippines, Singapore, Brisbane, Hong Kong, Nadi, Honaira, etc.
