For the beautiful island Seychelles which is famous for tourism, Air Seychelles provides inter-island services and also international connectivity to destinations all over the globe. The airline is based in Mahe and the main hub of the airlines is the Seychelles International Airport in Mahe. Mr. David Savy is the Chairman and Chief Executive of the airlines whereas James Michael is the President.
It was in the year 1977 when the airline Air Seychelles was founded but at that time, it was called as Seychelles Airlines. The title was changed in the year 1978. The airline is owned by the government of the island. Air Seychelles also holds a smaller hub at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in collaboration with Air France. 9 aircrafts are included in the fleet of Air Seychelles and a total of 11 destinations are connected by the airlines.
