Belavia is the national airline and flag carrier of Republic of Belarus. It is a state owned airline company which was founded in the year 1996. The airline is based in Minsk in Belarus and serves as a main connection between European cities and the Commonwealth of Independent States. The main hub airport of the airlines is the Minsk International Airport.
Belavia was founded as the result of an effort to restructure and improve the air connectivity of the Belarus air fleet. It was the local Aeroflot division that was nationalised and was followed by a change of the name to the present one. The present day fleet size of Belavia is 12 which cover around 22 destinations. The main destinations of the airlines are Paris, New York, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Dublin, London, Tel Aviv, Karachi, Rome, Berlin, etc. the present fleet of the Belavia consists of the following aircrafts:
