Cubana Airlines is the largest airline and flag carrier of Cuba. Founded on October 8, 1929, it is the most important airlines of Cuba and is more popularly known by the name of Cubana de Aviacion. It is owned by the government of Cuba. Till date, it has stretched its flight services to as many as 35 domestic and international destinations. In addition to passenger flights it also operates cargo flights. The corporate headquarters of this airline is located in Havana, Cuba. In 2009, the airline will be celebrating its 80th anniversary.
