Druk Air operates as Drukair- Royal Bhutan Airlines. It is the national airlines of the Kingdom of Bhutan and operates a modest schedule flight network with the South Asian region. It was established in 1981 and is the only national airline of Bhutan. It is based in Paro, the only airport of Bhutan and serves seven cities out of six neighbouring countries. Druk Air also acts as a sales agent for Thy Airways International in Bhutan. Since, Druk Air is the only airline flying into Bhutan it has become a lifeline with the outside world for the Bhutanese people as well as supporting emerging inbound tourism and export markets.
The main hub of Dunk Air is Paro Airport.
Some of the important destinations of Dunk Air are Dhaka, Delhi, Gaya, Kolkata, Kathmandu and Bangkok. In near future the airline plans to fly to Honkong, Singapore and Dubai as well.
