Eritrean Airlines is an airline based in Asmara in Eritrea. It was established in 1991 and is wholly owned by the Government of Eritrea. Initially, it served as the ground handling agent at Asmara International Airport. In May 2002, it was decided to expand into airline services. Its main base is Asmara International Airport. It operates services to Europe and Africa and plans to expand its fleet and network further.

Eritrean Airlines operates scheduled passenger flights to the several destinations across Africa, Middle East and Europe. Some of its destinations are Djibouti, United Arab Emirates, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Jeddah, Germany, Frankfurt, Milan and Rome.
