The oldest airline in the world is still operating under its original name, KLM airlines or KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is the national airline of Netherlands. Also, it is a part of the Air France-KLM group. The airlines have its headquarters am Amstelveen in Netherlands. The main hub airport of the airlines is Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Domestic and worldwide scheduled services and also cargo services are made available the KLM Airlines. The Air France-KLM alliance is a part of the SkyTeam Alliance as well.
Founded in October, 1919, KLM is at present the oldest name in airline industry. Even though the airline stopped operating during Second World War, the services were resumed.
