Northwest Airlines is based in Eagan in Minnesota and is one of the major airlines in the United States. It is a subsidiary of the Delta Air Lines. Three major hubs of the Northwest Airlines are present in United States which is Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport and the Memphis International Airport. The hub of the airlines in Asia is present at Narita International Airport in Japan.
At the end of 2006, Northwest Airlines were ranked as sixth in the world when seen in terms of domestic and scheduled passenger miles flown. It is a very old airline company too since it was founded in the year 1926 and under the name of Northwest Airways. With the present fleet size of 336 aircrafts and also 25 more orders, the airlines serves around 254 destinations all across the globe. Various kinds of luxuries and comforts are made available in World Business Class cabins and the Domestic first class cabins that are on offer in the flights of Northwest Airlines.
Member lounges are also offered by the Northwest Airlines and is called as WorldClubs. These are present in locations all over the world like New York, Tokyo, Washington, Manila, London Heathrow, Seoul, etc.
