The country Angola has the TAAG Angola Airlines as its national flag carrier. The airline provides domestic and international connectivity to cities all over the world. The effort of the airlines to purchase newly built aircrafts rather than buying second hand ones very clearly shows the profitability and thus the ever-growing passenger list of the airlines. The base city of the airlines is Luanda and the main hub airport is Quatro de Fevereiro Airport in the city.
The TAAG Angola Airlines were formed in the year 1938 as DTA and was a part of the administration sectors of the railways, harbours and air transport. It was in July 1940 that the flying operations actually started. The present fleet size of the company is 14 aircrafts which include:

Out of these, the main destinations are Athens, Bologna, Frankfurt, London, Istanbul, Milan, Pristina, Rome, Tirana, Turn and Brussels, etc. Great hospitality and services are provided to the travellers in the flights. The meals too are of good quality and taste. In-flight entertainment is also available. Passengers can also go by charter flights. |
